Terms of Use
By creating an account or using the apps you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the apps.
1. What the apps are
InMedicine Learn and InMedicine Clinic are educational and reference tools for medical students and healthcare professionals. They provide study material, reference information, calculators and an AI assistant that composes answers from the apps' own library.
2. Not medical advice
Nothing in the apps is medical advice, a diagnosis or a prescription for any individual. The content does not replace clinical judgement, local protocols, institutional guidance or the official prescribing information for your country. You are responsible for verifying every dose, threshold and decision before acting on it. AI answers may be wrong or incomplete and must never be the sole basis for a clinical decision. Do not use the apps in an emergency.
3. Who may use the apps
InMedicine Learn: users aged 16 or over. InMedicine Clinic: healthcare professionals and students aged 18 or over. You must give accurate account information and keep your sign-in details to yourself.
4. Your content
Notes, bookmarks and other content you create remain yours. You grant us the right to store and sync them so the apps work. Do not store patient-identifiable information in the apps. Do not upload content that is unlawful, infringing or harmful. We may remove content that breaks these terms.
5. Our content
The library, illustrations, 3D models, software and design are owned by ClinPot or licensed to us. Third-party sources and licences are credited in the apps (About → Sources, Credits). You may use the content for your personal study and professional reference. You may not copy, scrape, redistribute or sell it, or use it to build a competing product or to train a machine-learning model.
6. Subscriptions and purchases
Premium is sold as an auto-renewing subscription through the App Store or Google Play. Prices are shown in the store before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in your store account settings at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Refunds are handled by the store under its rules. Free trials, where offered, convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends.
7. Free tier, ads and limits
The free tier may show ads and may limit the number of daily actions (for example AI questions or downloads). Limits are shown in the app and may change.
8. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to break the apps' security, circumvent limits, reverse engineer the software, automate access, or use the AI assistant to generate content unrelated to medicine or to harm others.
9. Availability and changes
We may change, suspend or discontinue features, and may require you to update the app to keep using it. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee it.
10. Termination
You may delete your account at any time in the app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms.
11. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ClinPot is not liable for any loss or damage arising from reliance on the apps' content, including clinical decisions, or from unavailability of the apps. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in India have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
13. Changes to these terms
If these terms change materially, the app will ask you to review and accept the new version before continuing. The version date is at the top of this page.
